Lead Electrical Construction Manager

About the Role As a Lead Electrical Construction Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of complex electrical infrastructure projects within high-speed distribution and material handling environments. You will drive project success by coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring strict adherence to NEC standards, and optimizing site logistics to meet aggressive installation timelines. Responsibilities Direct the full lifecycle of industrial electrical installations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial targets. Lead and mentor field crews and subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship and peak operational efficiency. Manage procurement workflows, material staging, and site logistics to prevent installation bottlenecks. Analyze electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and layout prints to guide field teams and resolve technical challenges. Implement proactive risk management strategies to identify schedule variances and execute corrective action plans. Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous OSHA compliance and site-specific hazard mitigation protocols. Monitor project performance through regular progress reporting and budget tracking to ensure cost control. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience managing industrial electrical construction projects in distribution or warehouse settings. Strong technical expertise in NEC standards, power distribution, and conduit installation. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical drawings and installation documentation. Experience managing electrical personnel and coordinating with external vendors. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed. Preferred Skills Technical proficiency with 480V power distribution, MCCs, and cable tray systems. Experience with VFDs and PLC integration within material handling systems. PMP certification or formal project management training. Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as MS Project.
