Join Northwood and be part of something bigger!Department: Long Term Care - Ivy Meadows CampusResponsible to: Manager, Systems and Administrative ServicesEffective: ImmediatelyHours of Work: 40 Hours Biweekly (8 Hour Shifts) QualificationsDiploma in Office Administration or related fieldTwo years of relevant work experience WHMIS is considered an asset;Ability to work well with othersKnowledge of office equipment requiredProficiency in typing ( 50 words per minute ) requiredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of Point Click Care is considered an asset but not a requirementMust have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationResponsibilities Coordinates general office routines and performs day to day office tasks, including filing, scanning, copying and managing supplies. Composes and types correspondence, reports and letters, messages, memos and meeting minutes as required. Supports and maintains information required for compliance with audits, inspections and statistical information for quality improvement.Functions as a member of the administrative team by providing daily coordination of office/building requirements.Updates and maintains files, records, monthly calendars and databases as required.Supports all necessary posting needs to Northwood’s Hub.If required, assists with scheduling meetings, room bookings, interviews and appointments.Other related duties as assigned by supervisorApplicationsCompleted internal application forms must be submitted online through the Northwood Hub.
