We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.VPC InspectorThe VPC Inspector will be responsible for the daily inspection and/or processing functions within the VPC Department in order to insure a quality vehicle is being shipped to the end customer on behalf of Glovis.ResponsibilitiesInspect new vehicle exterior features for defects and/or damagesInspectors will operate IQS tablet (Samsung Tablet) and input defects found on vehiclesInspectors will inspect new vehicle exterior features in search for defects and/or damagesInspector will need to be attentive to detailsInspector will communicate found defectsInspect vehicle according to company guidelines and proceduresInspection vehicles according to the SWIS and Inspection Audit FormCommunicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow peersCommunicate found defects to either online repair to fix or to the out scan team member, so that it may be entered into the IQIS systemMust willfully perform other tasks as instructed by leadershipFulfill various other roles such as driving, battery testing, tire pressure, and/or throw-in (i.e. floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, and owner's manual) within the VPC department other than inspectionMaintain housekeeping standardsMay have to work in other departments to help maintain daily production goalsSkillsEffective verbal and written communication skills RequiredAbility to follow verbal and written instructions RequiredAbility to use/operate a two-way radio RequiredAbility to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length (VIN) RequiredAbility to drive both automatic and standard shift vehicles RequiredEducation & ExperienceMust have Valid Driver's License Required1 year of Quality/Inspection experience PreferredGlovis America, Inc. adheres to the equal employment opportunity guidelines set forth by federal, state, and local laws.
