Client located in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Lead Network Engineer for a long-term contract position. This person will co-lead the Cisco device replacement project, mentor other engineers, automate patching, setup DR with GCP, organize documentation, create a 2027 networking roadmap. The internal team will own the on-prem systems and this person will focus on the GCP systems.Required:-10+ years Cisco engineering experience.-GCP network design and implementation expertise.-CCNP.-Experiencing mentoring other engineers.-Automation expertise.-Ansible / Terraform.-GitLab.-Experience supporting network on Linux.Desired:-Network security experience (CheckPoint).-Completion of CCIE exam
