SummaryThe Summer Fun Instructor is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children during the summer program. This role focuses on hands-on learning, creative exploration, and age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.DutiesAssist with implementing weekly themed activities including arts and crafts, music, movement, and outdoor playCreate age-appropriate STEM activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and problem-solvingMaintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all timesSupervise children and ensure their safety during all indoor and outdoor activitiesMonitor and actively supervise children during field trips, ensuring safety, engagement, and adherence to program expectationsFoster positive relationships with children, encouraging kindness, cooperation, and independenceCommunicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children’s progress and daily activitiesFollow all licensing regulations and center policiesRequirementsAt least one year experience working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged childrenStrong communication and classroom management skillsEnergetic, creative, and patient personalityAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamReliable TransportationNice To HavesFirst Aid/CPR Certificate- If not, we will trainBenefitsPaid Major HolidaysPaid training and professional developmentCPR/First Aid certification provided
