The Cook/Sous Chef will be responsible for daily meal preparation, including creating menus, prepping ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring food presentation is of high quality. They will oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation standards, manage inventory, and coordinate with other team members to maintain kitchen efficiency and excellence in food service. The role may also involve training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to uphold the quality of the culinary operations. Qualifications Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and creating flavorful dishesExperience in kitchen operations, inventory management, and menu planningKnowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and waste managementAbility to work in a team, manage junior kitchen staff, and maintain a positive kitchen environmentStrong multitasking skills, time management, and attention to detail under time constraintsCulinary training or relevant certifications are a strong advantagePrior experience as a Cook or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen is highly desirable
