Job Position: Accounting Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73102 Shift: 1st shift Description: Financial Management & Reporting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions • Perform account reconciliations (bank, credit cards, AR/AP, inventory) • Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting Project & Job Cost Accounting • Track and allocate costs to specific furniture projects (labor, freight, installation, product) • Monitor project budgets vs. actuals and report variances • Support project managers with financial insights to maintain profitability • Assist in revenue recognition based on project milestones or delivery Accounts Payable & Receivable • Process vendor invoices, including manufacturers and installation partners • Manage customer invoicing, deposits, and progress billings • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables • Coordinate lien waivers and compliance documentation when applicable Inventory & Cost Control • Track inventory purchases, usage, and adjustments • Reconcile inventory balances and coordinate periodic counts • Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) and margins by product line or project • Identify discrepancies and implement cost control measures Compliance & Tax • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Manage sales tax reporting (multi-state if applicable) • Support annual audits and coordinate with external CPA firms • Maintain proper documentation for contracts, purchases, and financial records Process Improvement • Develop and refine accounting procedures specific to furniture/project workflows • Improve ERP/accounting system utilization (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or industry-specific platforms) • Implement best practices for job costing, billing cycles, and reporting PDOKC
