Night Guest Services Attendant

Join the team at Lake Hope Dining Lodge & Cabins as a Night Guest Services Attendant in McArthur, OH. In this role, you will be the face of our hospitality, ensuring that every guest experiences a warm welcome and exceptional service during their stay. You will assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, provide information about our facilities and local attractions, and address any needs or concerns to create a memorable and comfortable visit.This position will work overnight 11pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays.Rate of pay is $16.00/hour.BenefitsOpportunity to work in a beautiful setting at Lake Hope Dining Lodge & CabinsCollaborative and supportive work environmentFull time positions are eligible for a full benefit package after 69 daysPTO after 1 yearHoliday Pay (including your birthday!)401(k) Retirement Savings PlanRoom, food & retail discountsResponsibilitiesConduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and reconcile any discrepancies for all venues to include: Retail, Banquets, Restaurant, Bar and Rooms.Prepare daily reports, including revenue and occupancy reportsPost all Banquet event charges/checksAcknowledge and greet all guests as they approach the front desk.Make reservations in Stay N Touch for guests that walk in or call in to reserve a cabin.Check guests in and out using Stay N Touch, make keys for guest and process payment/billing in a prompt efficient manner.Handle cash in a responsible manner ensuring that cash drawer is always secured and the proper cash amount is dropped into the bank safe.Answer all incoming calls and assist or transfers calls as deemed necessary.Check out all keys for various outlets of the lodge.Maintain the Retail area by ensuring it is clean & stocked appropriately.Process transactions for Retail using Silverware.Use problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concern.Use discretion with the information privy to and discuss only as needed with the manager, supervisor or GM when there are concerns.Responsible for changes to cabin status; i.e. room changes, early departures, late checkouts and stayovers.Respond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper manager.Complete daily duties as outlined on Shift Checklist.Post guest and master account charges into computer.Clean Dining Lodge public areas to include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting and sanitizing.Respond to guest inquiries overnight and resolve any issues in a timely and professional mannerMonitor hotel security and report any suspicious activity or incidentsAct as the Emergency contact for the location overnight and contacts the Rangers, Sheriff, EMS or other fire & life safety agencies.RequirementsMust be 21 or olderBasic education at High-School level or equivalent.Previous Hotel / Restaurant POS system experienceBasic reading & writing skillsCommunication skillsBasic math skillsAbility to multi-task and work under pressureAbility to overnight shifts, weekends and holidaysMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.Basic computer knowledge using a Windows environment.Previously demonstrated cash handling and/or customer service experienceMust be a friendly, outgoing "people" person with a good attitude and professionalism.Previous experience working with the public in a service provider industry preferred.Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within service time frames established by the company.Must be able to perform tasks in a safe manner and adhere to company policyAbout the Company
