Hotel Sales Manager - Part-Time - Prattville Al
A Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue for a hotel through proactive selling, relationship building, account management, and securing group, corporate, and local business opportunities. The role is focused on increasing occupancy, ADR, and overall hotel profitability.Responsibilities:Sales ManagerAccount ManagementManage existing corporate accounts and grow share of walletConduct outside sales calls and client visitsNegotiate local negotiated rates (LNRs), group rates, and contractsMaintain relationships with travel managers, planners, and local businessesGroup & Meeting SalesRespond to RFPs, leads, and meeting inquiries quicklyConduct hotel site tours for potential clientsCoordinate with operations for group arrivals and eventsMaximize meeting space and catering opportunities (if applicable)Prospecting & Sales ActivityCold call and solicit new accountsAttend networking events, chambers, and community functionsMaintain weekly activity goals (calls, appointments, site tours)Build a pipeline for future businessQualifications:Experience in hospitality sales with a focus on local negotiationsHilton System KnowledgeAbility to conduct effective outside sales calls and build strong community networksProven track record of managing and responding to sales inquiries, RFPs, and group leads promptlySkill in negotiating rates, contracts, and group agreementsProficiency in maintaining accurate account activity, production tracking, and pipeline reportingAbility to collaborate with revenue management to support ADR and occupancy goalsExperience serving as Manager on Duty, including evenings and weekends as needed, is a plusAbout Company:Our property's vision is to have a positive impact.
