Automation Technician

We're looking to fill this position quickly—don't wait to reach out!THE ROLENFM Consulting is looking for a seasoned Automation Technician who takes full ownership of their work —someone who walks onto a site, reads the situation, and solves the problem. You will be embedded in West Texas field operations supporting well sites, SWDs, compressor stations, and tank batteries across the Permian Basin. This is a hitch-schedule position requiring strong field judgment, time management, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.WHAT YOU'LL DO? Maintain, troubleshoot, install, and program automation systems at field locations including well sites, SWDs, compressor stations, and tank batteries? Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting across IDEC, Fisher ROC, ABB, Allen Bradley, Redline HMI, OEMTech, and pressure transmitters? Read and write ladder logic with primary proficiency in IDEC PLCs? Perform calibration, maintenance, and repairs on instrumentation, communication, and electrical equipment? Execute planned maintenance checks and submit all required reports in a timely manner? Experience in instrumentation, electronics technology, or equivalent field experience? Strong time management and the ability to self-prioritize across multiple sites?
