Opniscience replaces this with a single platform for onboarding, data aggregation, reporting, and analytics — powered by automation and AI.We work with leading investment firms, family offices, and fund administrators to modernize how private markets operate.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Junior Product Manager / Business Analyst to work directly with founders, engineers, and clients to help design and build the platform. This is a high-impact, early-career role ideal for someone who wants to learn product management, work on real-world problems, and grow quickly in a startup environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate Business Needs into Product RequirementsWork with clients (LPs, OCIOs, fund admins) to understand workflowsBreak down complex processes into structured requirementsWrite clear product specs and user storiesSupport Product DevelopmentCollaborate with engineers to clarify requirements and iterate on featuresAssist in prioritizing features based on impact and strategyCollaborate with Engineers and UI/UXData & Workflow AnalysisMap data flows across private markets (GPs, fund admins, LPs)Help define data models, dashboards, and reporting structuresTesting & Quality AssuranceTest features before releaseIdentify bugs and usability issuesClient Support & DeliveryAssist with onboarding new clientsSupport demos and product implementationsSupport client call preps for trainings, workshops, demos, and recurring project discussion.Prepare and update project plans and weekly project communicationsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree (or graduating soon)Preferred fields: Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or relatedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)High attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environmentPreferred (Not Required)Internship experience in consulting, finance, or techBasic understanding of financial markets or private equityFamiliarity with Excel / Google SheetsExposure to tools like SQL, Figma, Jira, or NotionWhat We Look ForCuriosity and willingness to learnAbility to break down complex problemsStrong ownership mindsetInterest in building products, not just analyzingWhat You'll GainHands-on experience building a product from the ground upExposure to private markets and financial technologyDirect mentorship from foundersOpportunity to grow into a Product Manager roleCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryEquity participationHigh-growth career opportunityApplication ProcessPlease submit:Resume to jeannine@opniscience.comBrief statement on why you are interested in Opniscience(Optional) Example of a project, internship, or analysis work
