Lead surplus material strategies, negotiate global deals, and connect the aviation market like never before.If you're ready to influence and succeed in a fast-moving environment - join the journey! ️TasksYour main tasks include, among others:Identify surplus airframe and airframe parts from new and existing business partners including but not limited to airlines, maintenance facilities, leasing companies, and part brokersDrive reciprocal business opportunities with a high focus on rotables, LRU, and componentsEvaluate and negotiate full aircraft teardown /resale assets for purchase worldwideManage and negotiate airframe material and component packages for purchasing and sale with suppliers around the globeMaintain vendor and customer relations to sustain business relation with existing business partnersMonitor regional surplus market to develop new material sourcesForecast, track and achieve surplus purchasing and sales projectsAll other duties as assigned or requiredRequirementsThe ideal USM Trade Manager must fulfill the following requirements:High school diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree requiredMaster's degree required2-4 years of experience in Aviation / Customer Service / Contract Management / Purchasing requiredFluency in English language requiredGerman, Spanish and/or Mandarin language desirableKnowledge in Aviation MRO / Accounting / Customer serviceSAP knowledge desirableMS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as expertExcellent analytical skillsExcellent business senseExcellent cost consciousnessExcellent detail orientedExcellent innovationExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem solvingExcellent quality consciousnessWillingness to travelShift work / overtimeManage constant time pressureManage high stress levelsMust possess a legal work permit in the U.S.CV/Resume requiredCompany may provide relocation assistanceAbout Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.Lufthansa Technik is the worldwide leading independent provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft.
