PLM Process Analyst
Overview
In this role you will collaborate with a global, multidisciplinary team to develop PLM capabilities and support processes across multiple product groups. You will assist in defining blueprint processes, capturing URDs, and mapping current and future PLM/PDM landscapes. You’ll analyze the as-is state, model data relationships, and contribute to training material. The position emphasizes standardizing PLM capabilities across the business and guiding technology choices. This is an opportunity to influence product lifecycle excellence at scale.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate globally to develop PLM capability with cross-functional teamsSupport Process Architect in defining PLM processes, requirements, and specs across functionalities (NPI, BOM, product structuring, change management, document and requirements management, MRO, integration, Project Planning)Define blueprint processes to standardize PLM capabilities across businessesCapture and document security data access and reporting requirements (URD)Map and document as-is PLM/PDM and allied integrations (CAD, Project Planning, MRP/ERP, Manufacturing, Sourcing)Model and document current and future data models and data flows for PLM systemsAnalyze current state, quantify benefits, and consolidate inputs for business valueDevelop training materials and provide guidance on BPM technologiesDemonstrate strong presentation skills and manage multiple projects concurrently
Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or Computer Science5+ years of experience with enterprise-level PLM/PDM implementationsStrong background in Engineering and/or Manufacturing processesKnowledge of BOM structuring, variant configuration, requirements management, CAD data management, change management, NPI, and enablement of service life cyclesHands-on experience configuring PLM tools and user adoptionExperience deploying PLM in a model-based enterprise environmentProficiency with MS Office 2010+Ability to communicate strategy and action plans and willingness to travelclear thinking and communicationpresentation skillsability to manage multiple projectsProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) and PDMNPI, BOM management, configuration, and requirements managementCAD data management
