Here's what you will do:
Consolidate GTIN (Global Trade Identification Number) directories.
Maintain GS1 profile
Maintain Ladybug UPC (universal product code) records.
Keeps ERP files current and accurate and completes ERP updates as assigned.
Maintain UPC item list.
Assists with other UPC related initiatives and support.
Maintains customer facing product databases.
Utilizes third party software to transmit product data.
Assists in customer compliance requests.
Collaborates with QA Manager and other stakeholders to implement product data and best practices.
Supports QA team operations as needed.
Requirements:
Qualified Canidates will have:
Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in wholesale distribution, retail produce operations, data compliance, or warehouse environments required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in database management preferred.
Must have familiarity with UPC, GTIN, and PLU requirements.
Must have a thorough understanding of OGC'S products and services to meet customer needs.
Forklift experience preferred.
Experience with online data publishing platforms and point of purchase systems is preferred.
Experience with GMP and food traceability preferred.
Experience with Priya and Produce Pro software strongly preferred.
It's helpful if you bring:
High attention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods of time.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Knowledge of produce handling and food safety requirements, including GFSI & GMP.
Ability to operate computers efficiently.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
