Gastroenterology Physician

Shift: 8A 8P in-house + 8P 8A beeper call1 2 weeks/month (minimum 1 week) Ongoing 9 12 monthsAssignment Details:Setting: Inpatient onlyVolume: patients/day + 5 proceduresSupport: 1 PA/NP (supervision required)EMR: EpicLicense: OK or IMLC acceptedRequirements:Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology (ACGME/AOA)Board Certified / Eligible in GastroenterologyERCP Experience: 200+ therapeutic, 40 sphincterotomies, 10 stent placements (past 12 months or recent grad)Certifications: ACLS requiredCredentialing: 60 daysProcedural Skills:Required: Upper/Lower GI endoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic), EUS, PEG, liver biopsy, GI bleed management.Preferred: Small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy.
