Scope of PositionThe Market Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service. He/she will also possess a limitless desire to attain the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in areas of the Food and Beverage Operations.Position RequirementsProfessional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.Demonstrated ability to implement standards/procedures and sequence of service consistently.ResponsibilitiesPrepare beverages to customer specifications.Make appropriate suggestions of food and beverages (employ suggestive selling and up selling technique).Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.Maintain clean and organized workspace.Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station.Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies.Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits.Any other reasonable duties as required by management.EducationHigh school diploma or GEDSkills And AbilitiesAbility to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment, machinery.Physical RequirementsAble to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.Requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
