Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business relationships across small businesses, real estate investors, professionals, and community organizations to drive deposit and loan production.Prospect and network actively within Bayonne and Hudson County through Chamber events, business associations, community groups, and direct outreach.Promote BCB Bank’s full suite of products, including business checking, cash‑management services, commercial loans, residential lending, and treasury solutions.Collaborate with branch leadership—including the Regional Manager, Cluster Manager, and Relationship Managers—to execute local growth strategies.Maintain strong community visibility, representing BCB Bank at events, sponsorships, and local initiatives to enhance brand presence.Conduct needs‑based financial assessments for prospects and existing clients to match them with appropriate banking solutions.Support retention efforts by ensuring high‑quality service and ongoing relationship management.Track and report production activity, pipeline development, and market opportunities to senior leadership.QualificationsExperience in business development, commercial banking, or financial services.Strong networking, communication, and relationship‑building skills.Knowledge of local Bayonne/Hudson County markets and business community.Ability to work independently, meet production goals, and manage a business pipeline.Professional presence consistent with BCB Bank’s community‑focused brand.
