Financial Controller

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Responsibilities Oversee all company accounts and investments Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Collaborate with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on day-to-day operations Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred Proven work experience as a Financial Controller or similar role Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of cost accounting principles Experience in account analysis, regulatory reporting, payroll, accounts receivable, and cash management Previous experience in cost accounting in winery is great match Ability to forecast financial trends accurately Job Type: Full-time Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting: Office Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Experience: GAAP: 5 years (Preferred) Cost accounting: 5 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Napa, CA (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Napa, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
