In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.OverviewAs directed by the department lead, this full-time Utility Worker position maintains the general maintenance of the facility, as well as the preparation and tearing down of events.This role pays an hourly rate of $32.22 (per CBA).Benefits as per the union agreement.This position will remain open until May 15, 2026.ResponsibilitiesRepairs and maintains facility, including painting and general labor.Handles preparations for all events, including installation and removal of dasher board system for hockey, staging, and chairs for concerts and family shows and basketball flooring.Snow removal and general maintenance of areas on the outside of the facility, which involves driving plow truck and forklift, as needed.General summer garden detail, including cutting grass with mower, weeding, and trimming using motorized trimmer.Implements corrective actions and solutions.Ensures job assignments are completed on time and meet company standards.Follows procedures for use of Work Order and Maintenance Manager Systems.Adhere to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
