Test Validation Engineer

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering8+ years of experience in systems integration, test and validation, or hardware developmentDeep hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and optomechanical hardware (lasers, motion stages, control electronics)Proficiency with test automation software (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB preferred)Ability to diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domainsStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsExperience with precision motion systems, optical alignment, and laser-based equipmentSemiconductor manufacturing equipment or capital equipment experience preferredResponsibilities:Lead hardware integration and validation of complex laser-based manufacturing systems including optical, mechanical, electrical, and precision motion subsystemsDevelop and execute detailed hardware test procedures from subsystem to system-level validation ensuring performance meets design and reliability requirementsPerform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domainsDesign and implement test automation solutions to enable efficient and repeatable system verification and validationCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance
