Software Engineer- Data Analyst

Software Engineer Flexera Global is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects from inception to completion. Software Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Follows the software development lifecycle. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures. Protects operations by keeping information confidential. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Education and Experience requirements: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or related role. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL, etc.). Proficient in programming languages (Python, R, etc.) is a plus. Strong analytical skills. The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
