US Program Manager Department Program Management / US Operations Location Austin, TX / Remote (Hybrid) — travel to project sites expected Reports To US Operations Director Employment Full-Time | Immediate HirePosition OverviewThe US Program Manager owns oversight of Karpower's US development portfolio, coordinating all active workstreams — power generation development, data center infrastructure, land acquisition, permitting, procurement, and construction readiness — across the company's US projects. Responsible for integrating multiple concurrent projects and disciplines into one coordinated delivery effort and serving as leadership's primary point of oversight across US development activity.This is a senior, high-trust position who has operated on the owner's side of large, complex energy or infrastructure programs — ideally multi-project or portfolio-scale — and who can work with significant autonomy while keeping executive leadership and the parent company clearly informed.Key Responsibilities•   Own the integrated US program — maintain the portfolio-level master schedule, risk register, and dependency map across all active projects and sub-projects (power generation, data center infrastructure, and supporting site development).•   Serve as leadership's primary point of oversight — provide one coordinated view of status, risk, budget, and milestones across the US portfolio to the US Operations Director, CEO, and parent company / board stakeholders.•   Direct site-level project management — set standards for and oversee the Development Project Manager(s) executing at each project; ensure consistent processes, reporting, and controls across the portfolio.•   Support all EPC / EPCM delivery strategy — track RFP process end-to-end (scope, vendor outreach, evaluation, scoring, and selection) and recommend the delivery model across the portfolio; serve as owner's representative through pre-construction and construction.•   Coordinate procurement and long-lead strategy — partner with supply chain to sequence long-lead OEM equipment (turbines, transformers, switchgear) against project schedules, recognizing multi-year lead times as a critical-path constraint.•   Integrate permitting across jurisdictions — maintain program-wide permitting status across all relevant jurisdictions and power markets; coordinate regulatory consultants and flag critical-path risks to leadership.•   Drive standardization and repeatability — champion a modular reference-plant approach and common program standards that enable concurrent, repeatable builds.•   Manage the consultant and contractor network — own relationships across engineering, environmental, legal, and real estate disciplines; ensure deliverables, invoices, and milestones are tracked portfolio-wide.•   Prepare executive and board-level reporting — produce program status reports and briefing materials for the CEO, parent company, and board stakeholders.•   Identify resourcing gaps — surface gaps in consultant, contractor, or internal team coverage and recommend additional resourcing as the program scales.Qualifications•   10+ years of program or project management experience in energy, power generation, or large infrastructure, with demonstrated ownership of large-scale or multi-project programs•   Direct experience on the owner's side of EPC / EPCM / design-build contracts — how to structure, evaluate, and negotiate these agreements•   Proven ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent projects and workstreams with competing deadlines•   Strong working knowledge of permitting and interconnection processes for energy projects; ERCOT / PUCT and multi-market experience a plus•   Familiarity with long-lead equipment procurement and supply chain sequencing for power generation projects•   Experience coordinating land acquisition and real estate due diligence in a development context•   Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable presenting to executive, C-suite, and board audiences•   Proficiency with program and project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)•   PMP, PgMP, or equivalent preferred; not required if experience is strong•   Spanish language skills a plus
