Courier Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and safe delivery of goods, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient route driving. This role requires a valid driver’s license, experience with commercial driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. The Courier Driver will operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles, ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles for route driving and load & unload activities Deliver packages and goods to customers in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques as needed Navigate routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing deliveries Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier services or route driving Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklift operation or pallet jacks Proven ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission is desirable Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred This role is essential for ensuring efficient logistics operations while providing exceptional service to our clients.
