In this role, you will collaborate with blood operations and laboratory departments, as well as Enterprise Analytics and Data Sciences teams to optimize inventory levels, forecast demand accurately, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Reporting directly to the Supply and Demand Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's mission to provide a safe and sufficient blood supply to hospitals and medical facilities in the region.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 30 hours/wk.Job Responsibilities:Analyze historical demand patterns, seasonal trends, future growth projections, and operational inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts for consumable supplies used in blood collections and laboratory manufacturing processes.Work closely with Enterprise Analytics and Data Sciences (EADS) team to leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling for improved demand forecasting and decision-making.Learn the basics of blood product manufacturing. Develop a knowledge of how the operation departments and laboratories work together to ensure a safe blood supply.Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on metrics related to inventory turnover, stockouts, and forecast accuracy.The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.IBR also offers comprehensive benefits (including medical, vision, dental, paid time off, and sick days) to full and part-time employees, as well as the opportunity to participate in a 403(b)-retirement plan with a generous employer contribution.QualificationsEducation: Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.Experience: Experience using data analytics and visualization software.
