We use and practice language in a relevant social context based on our Freestyle-created multimedia-based innovative curriculum.Job DescriptionPrimarily responsible for carrying out the company’s operations. This includes time spent running the business: setting up classes and technologies, and communicating with instructors and learners, plus time spent researching, co-designing and implementing processes and technologies to help the organization scale. ResponsibilitiesOPERATIONS ANALYSISBuilds dashboards to report on client, learner and instructor progress and performance within and across a class session.In conjunction with operations team, design/develop (spreadsheet, db) and maintain tools to help increasingly streamline the operational lift required to run FreestyleResearches and configures software needed to support Freestyle operations (e.g., apps, databases, etc)ONLINE LEARNING OPERATIONSManages the full life cycle of the learning management system and works with the Course Coordinator to ensure maintenance is done regularly.Helps with staffing, class lists, and organization of virtual classrooms.Supports instructors with tech needs in and out of the virtual classroom.Facilitates cooperation and ensures processes move seamlessly between departments.ADMIN & CUSTOMER SERVICEMeets customer needs, offers options, resolves problems, and follows up with learners & customersImplements / updates learner, class and course changes as needed to address client needsCoordinates and trains one or more Operations Interns.*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degreeFully bilingual - fluency in Spanish/English Excellent verbal and written skillsModerate / expert skill with spreadsheet formulas and tables (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)Working knowledge of database programs (e.g., Airtable, SmartSheets)Ability to document process and system requirements effectivelyAbility to work efficiently with minimal supervisionAbility to organize and manage work from multiple work streamsHigh attention to detailApplicants must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsMore than 2 years of related experienceWorking knowledge of task automation applications (e.g., Zapier, Make)Versed in software selection and evaluation processesComputer science, data analytics or other, technical business backgroundPay$20-$25/hr depending on qualifications and locationBenefits & PerksYou will be eligible for the benefits that Freestyle Languages offers.
