Marketing Graphic Designer

Marketing Graphic Designer Location: Vienna, VAHybrid: Three days per week onsitePosition Overview We are seeking a talented Marketing Graphic Designer to conceptualize, design, and produce marketing and corporate communications campaigns and related artwork in support of our client's products and services. This role requires expertise in generating complex brand designs as part of a multi-disciplinary team, seamlessly moving designs from concept to execution. You will apply marketing design principles, development standards, and methodologies to ensure exceptional user experience and alignment with organizational objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex assignments, determine methods and procedures for new initiatives, and provide guidance to junior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, and produce complex digital design solutions for multiple marketing platforms including websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, photography, and video/animation using Adobe Software, AEM, Salesforce, and related toolsDevelop design layouts and visual branding in both print and digital media that support products, services, and organizational objectivesParticipate in strategic and conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives, and creative directionWork closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to develop materials that meet or exceed expectations while complying with branding, trademark, industry standards, and corporate goalsConduct complex research and develop strong, persuasive ideas to address organizational goals and purposeCreate initial design sketches and follow art direction to produce marketing materials utilizing typography, illustration, animation, video, and layout skillsServe as a creative, innovative resource and point of contact for management on design and branding standards, vendor selection, production methods, and timelinesMonitor assigned projects to ensure goals and objectives are completed according to schedule and collaborate with stakeholdersIncorporate and leverage complex best industry practices while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and capabilitiesResearch and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, graphic design trends, new methodologies, and best practices through professional associations, conferences, and trainingsProvide problem-solving recommendations that align with business goalsSupport complex print specifications, digital files, and conversion of file formats for Print On-Demand, laser forms, and similar applicationsCollaborate with clients to develop materials that meet their needs and preferences in compliance with advertising regulations, copyright and trademark laws, policies, and corporate cultureDesign day-to-day communications and corporate-wide promotional materialsAssist with analysis and development of new and innovative ways to improve member service using websites and other forms of media to enhance marketing communicationsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications and EducationBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, interactive media involving design or development of computer programs/applications, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceExperience with mainstream InDesign desktop publishing programs and Adobe programs (XD, Experience Manager, Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom, Animate, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, and Keynote)Experience with Salesforce Marketing CloudEffective skill in PC and Internet/Web-based technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP; Web Content management software, editing and authoring tools, and development languagesWorking knowledge of marketing communication principles in designing web pagesAdvanced skill in creating interaction designs with strong application to members through visual design and interaction behavior using HTML, scripting languages, and related software applicationsExperience with social media content design, creative trends, and best practicesExperience with digital accessibilityAdvanced skill manipulating files in MAC and PC web design applicationsExperience creating interactive media that adheres to overall user-experience goalsAbility to act independently while exercising initiative and judgment while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesAdvanced skill exercising professionalism, composure under pressure, and flexibilityAbility to give and receive constructive feedback and push designs to the next levelAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsExperience working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projectsEffective research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsDesired QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of our client's functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectivesWorking knowledge of our client's products, services, programs, policies, and proceduresAbout This Role This position is integral to our client's marketing and communications strategy.
