This is a hands-on individual contributor position — you'll be executing analytics work alongside the team, not leading projects independently or managing stakeholders end to end.The team already runs a follow-the-sun model with analysts based in India, so there is genuine flexibility on location for most of the workload.What You'll be Working OnThree defined use cases sit behind this hire. The immediate focus is on the first two:Events analytics — location flexible, can be worked from anywhere.A/B testing and experimentation — location flexible, can be worked from anywhere.Supporting the e-commerce, theatrical and games teams — US time zone required. These stakeholders are US-based and this stream involves direct interfacing with them.Across all three, the work centres on building SQL queries and surfacing insight through visualisation, with a metrics layer built around subscription KPIs: retention, engagement and acquisition.Essential SkillsSQL — the core requirement. Strong, demonstrable, hands-on query building.Data visualisation — Tableau is the primary reporting interface. Looker or comparable BI tooling is considered transferable.Hands-on analytics delivery with clear technical acumen.Databricks, and specifically Databricks Genie — the team is building agentic AI on Genie, so this is the single most valuable secondary skill.Streaming industry background: Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Disney Streaming, Pluto, or similar.Any subscription-based business where you've owned retention, engagement or acquisition metrics.
