This stylish integration offers a unique way to shop and eat, creating an all-encompassing culinary destination.The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality desserts and baked goods, ensuring consistency in recipes, and supporting daily kitchen operations while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role also maintains the cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and adheres to all food safety and sanitation standards.**Please note that this position requires prior experience working as a Pastry Chef!What Mission Offers You:Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and voluntary life, disability, accident, critical illness, hospital, and pet insurance—effective the first of the month after 60 days of full-time employment.Competitive Pay401K plus company match*Paid Sick TimeEmployee Meal ProgramCompany paid Airport Employee Parking or RTD EcoPassRoom for Growth!!Job Responsibilities:Supports management in overseeing kitchen staff, including prep cooks and pastry team members.Monitors the quality and consistency of pastry products served.Collaborates with other kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive culinary team.Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.Help train new kitchen staff on kitchen procedures, equipment, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to ensure skills are continually developed.Ensure that staff follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.Troubleshoot problems as they arise, including issues with equipment, food shortages, or customer complaints.Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure dishes meet the restaurant's standards for quality and consistency.Contributes to a positive work environment through enthusiasm, dedication, and responsiveness.What We Are Looking For:Candidates who possess at least two years of pastry baking experience.Delivery of superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction.Upholds ideals, values, and practices that are the foundation of Mission Yogurt: Loyalty, Innovation, Service, Communication, and Flexibility.Adheres to Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices.Ensures all operating and quality standards are met.Upholds a professional and ethical management style and presentation.Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-biased judgment.Ensures safety and security of both guests and team members.Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.Physical Requirements:Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours.
