DCOnsite – 3 days a week roleClient: go with coforgeThe Senior Appian Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and maintainable business solutions using the Appian BPM suite. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices and enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities: • Application Development: • Design and develop Appian applications using SAIL, process models, records, reports, and web APIs • Customize workflows and UI components to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. • Integrate Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, RDBMS, and third-party connectors. • Technical Leadership: • Lead Agile development teams, assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure quality standards • Mentor junior developers and promote Appian best practices. • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards and reusable components. • Collaboration & Communication: • Work closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Present technical concepts and solutions to senior stakeholders. • Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot integration issues • Compliance & Optimization: • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and accessibility standards (e.g., 508 compliance). • Optimize application performance and scalability. • Stay updated with Appian platform releases and evaluate new features for implementation. Required Skills & Experience: • Technical Expertise: • 7–10+ years of experience in Appian development, including SAIL, process modeling, and UI design • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, security model, and performance tuning. • Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs. • Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). • Certifications: • Appian Level 1 & Level 2 certifications are mandatory • Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer preferred • Methodologies: • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Familiarity with BPM principles and workflow automation.Employment type:ContractExperience:N/A
