We are looking for CNA to help with our vision: Starting Pay: $18.00 /Hour Purpose-SC is hiring Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant, to provide assistance to our program located in Summerville, SC. Purpose- SC provides meaningful and rewarding employment opportunities supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide residential, educational, and recreational programs to support and improve the lives of those we serve in a caring and compassionate team environment. The CNA will provide a caring, respectful, and empowering environment for our clients. CNA work with clients on individual goals to achieve the highest level of independence. This will ensure that evidence-based practices are utilized to ensure a comprehensive therapeutic program is provided for the individuals served. Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate Must be at least 21 years of age, Ability to read and write in English Valid South Carolina license, if applicable Regularly required to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or supporting people with special needs is preferred move 50-100 lbs. (assisted) Experience: One year (1), experience caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities/related disabilities. We need people who care about others and enjoy inspiring and motivating those individuals we serve. Duties of the Certified Nursing Assistant Chart daily progress notes during each shift Assist with implementing behavioral support plans Ensure daily care for clients Assist clients with taking prescribed medication Participate in community focused activities Attend doctor's appointments with clients Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
