Junior Web Developer

**Job Title:** Web Developer/Web Administrator - Journeyman **Location:** Washington DC **Job Type:** Contract **Introduction:** We are seeking a skilled Web Developer/Web Administrator - Journeyman to join our team. This role involves designing, creating, and modifying websites, analyzing user needs, and integrating web content with other applications. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and creativity to our projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, create, and modify websites according to user specifications and organizational needs. - Analyze user requirements to implement effective web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. - Integrate websites with other computer applications as necessary. - Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats using specialized software. - Apply expertise across multiple complex assignments, requiring originality and innovation in problem-solving. - Develop methodologies and present solutions to web development and administration challenges. - Contribute to project deliverables and monitor performance metrics to ensure website effectiveness. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Multimedia Design, or a related field. - Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in web development and administration. - Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages. - Experience with content management systems and web integration tools. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating creativity and innovation in solving technical challenges. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver practical solutions within deadlines.
