Job Duties:Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucksPerform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairsRoad test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly workingInspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gaugesIdentify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair orderKeep work area clean and safeOther duties as assignedDesired Competencies:Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty vehiclesDetail and process oriented Team PlayerFlexibility to meet changing demands Safety Focused Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license (having a CDL is beneficial but not required) 2+ years' experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar position (preferred but not required) Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical CertificationBenefits:Monthly BonusesHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance401K with company matchingCompany paid Short-term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceAnnual Boot & Tool AllowanceOpportunities for Advancement (Company Paid Volvo Module Training)We're an equal opportunity employer.
