Our headquarters office is in the Temple Terrace area of Tampa, Florida.Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and precise professional to help us properly maintain our payable information. The Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain current accounts and assist in invoicing functions. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can analyze expense reports to assign payments to the proper cost centers, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors within a specific industry.Responsibilities And DutiesMaintain petty cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursementsMonitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amountsResponsible for paying all sales tax on appropriate invoices and making a note of each tax payment madeKeep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor paymentsReconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurateQualifications And SkillsKnowledge about accounting and management principles and Accounts Payable proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with computers, especially business solutions and bookkeeping softwareStrong planning and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze information and processes.Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationshipsBenefits And PerksTop Pay in the industryLow health insurance cost for dependent and family coverageGenerous 401(k) match toward your retirement accountPerformance Incentive Based Pay
