Forklift Operator (3RD Shift)

Forklift Operator We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team for the second shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods in a warehouse or distribution environment.Role and ResponsibilitiesMonitors and maintains inventoryOrganize and secure materials, such as boxes, bales, pallets, and super stacks in a safe wayPick orders from inventory using a pick sheetShrink wrap pallets to prepare them for shippingWeigh products and/or loads and record weightMove hazardous materialsReport any faulty equipment, damage to racks, or other potential safety hazardsTake certification update coursesMaintain a clean work areaAnalyze production schedules to determine movement, deliveries, and material requirementsMaintain equipment by cleaning, oiling, recharging, refueling, etc.Consult and coordinate with manager, employees, other departments, and equipment manufacturers regarding loading and unloading operationsAttend meetings with manager and coworkersPrepare, present and/or approve bill of ladingsCheck-in and approve new shipmentsPerform quality checksAdhere to uniform requirementEnsure the oldest products are picked first by rotating stock.Be alert of other employees in the work zoneReport quality variances to the proper channelsUse radio frequency equipment as needed for picking, put-away, receiving, and load functionsComply with OSHA StandardsRequirements Qualifications1-3 years of certified forklift experiencePreferred sit-down forklift and pallet jack experienceBasic math skillsAbility to communicate and read labels in English (Bilingual preferred)Work Environment & Physical DemandsThis position works in a manufacturing facility.Frequently carry or lift 50 pounds or more.Travel RequiredNo travel is required for this job.BenefitsHealthcare coverage including medical, dental and vision401k PlanShort-term disability availablePaid holidays, vacation, and paid sick leaveEEO StatementPure's is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
