Our mission is to keep our communities informed with dynamic and timely reporting. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Kennewick, WA, for a Sports Anchor. The Sports Anchor will be responsible for producing and delivering engaging sports content, including live on-air presentations, in-depth analysis, and player interviews. Additional responsibilities include researching local and regional sports stories, creating scripts, collaborating with producers, and maintaining strong community engagement through social media platforms and public appearances. Qualifications Strong on-air presence, storytelling, and public speaking abilitiesExperience in sports reporting, research, and scriptwritingProficiency in using editing tools and newsroom systemsKnowledge of social media platforms and strategies for promoting contentAbility to work efficiently under deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and collaborative skills for team-oriented projectsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field is preferredFamiliarity with the sports landscape in the Inland Northwest and Montana is a plus
