Devops & Cloud Engineer
Overview:
In this role you will design and build cloud infrastructure to support large-scale ML and synthetic data platforms. You'll tackle distributed systems challenges, optimize data storage and throughput, and ensure security and reliability. You'll work closely with ML engineers, data scientists, and software teams to integrate new algorithms and data sources, owning cloud services from architecture to deployment as code. The role offers influence over technical direction and opportunities to prototype new technologies in a fast-moving AI/ML environment. Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop cloud infrastructure and pipelines for ML/data platforms
- Design scalable services to process large data volumes with low latency and high throughput
- Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and software teams to integrate new data sources and algorithms
- Own full-stack cloud service delivery: architecture, APIs, backend code, and infrastructure as code
- Address security, reliability, and operational efficiency in distributed systems
- Evaluate new technologies and prototype solutions to shape technical direction
Key requirements:
- Experience designing and building container- and serverless-based applications
- Proficient with IaC, CI/CD, and automated deployment
- Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Strong Linux development experience
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Go, and PythonDevOps mindset and automation focus
- Exposure to Agile software development practices
