Project Manager- Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

Job Description: The ideal candidate for this role must have in-depth knowledge of the full life cycle for delivering Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions. Expectations for this role combine the skillsets of a business analyst to help lead functional requirements gathering efforts, translating requirements to technical development teams, and managing the delivery teams on our consulting engagements. Work Expectations: Work with Larger Audience including Onshore / Offsite team Play a key role in expanding the BI and Data Analytics (cloud) practice by participating in strategic planning, managing & delivery. Act as the primary contact and business liaison on BI/Analytic consulting engagements Develop strong working relationships with VP/Director level resources, along with project day to day stakeholders Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, document current-state, and work with solution architects to develop future-state roadmaps for organizational data and reporting needs Organize project resources and work initiatives Plan and manage multiple parallel projects, including project budgets Maximize resource utilization across initiatives Prepare program/project updates and metrics for presentation to client leadership teams Deal with ambiguity in a complex, dynamic environment Qualification Requirements: 7 10 years leading program and project delivery for large, cross-functional projects Certified Scrum Master, ITIL, PMP is a plus Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent verbal and writing skills for non-technical and technical audiences Ability to work effectively and ensure successful completion of team output with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries Proficiency in PM methodologies including waterfall, agile, Kanban, etc. Advanced understanding of SDLC best practices, especially in a consultant project implementation capacity Must be a team player (Raises issues/concerns and seeks meaningful resolution) Experience with coaching and mentoring less experienced players on the team; must be comfortable with open and timely delivery of feedback for successful project implementations Experience with requirement gathering and translating into technical design (e.g. helping organizations define metrics/KPIs) Experience working and managing BI Developers and Data Engineers tasks and work output to deliver high-functioning reports and visualizations in tools like Power BI and Tableau Experience working with Entertainment Business & Operations is a definite plus Experience managing programs/projects that have utilized cloud/server-less infrastructure and applications to support data interfacing and storage is a plus
