Servco Equipment Company (St. Louis, MO) is a local manufacturer specializing in custom commercial kitchen equipment and stainless-steel fabrication. We have an immediate opening for an experienced TIG Welder / Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our production team. If you’re confident welding thin-gauge stainless steel (12–20 gauge), can read fabrication prints, and take pride in clean, accurate work—this is a great fit. Pay $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type Full-time Location St. Louis, MO 63139 (reliably commute or relocate before start) ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies (1220 gauge). Select appropriate welding procedures and techniques to ensure proper penetration, fusion, strength, and alignment. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication prints, production orders, bills of material, and process sheets. Fitup parts using clamps and fixtures; maintain dimensional accuracy and alignment; spot weld/tack as required. Weld and assemble parts into subassemblies or complete assemblies. Inspect work for accuracy and quality prior to moving to the next step of manufacturing. Support other shop areas as needed (flexible team environment). ________________________________________ Qualifications Ability to read and interpret complex drawings/blueprints. Strong working knowledge of welding equipment, welding procedures, material characteristics, and basic metallurgy. Proven TIG welding skill and familiarity with basic fabrication equipment/machines. Ability to weld 1220 gauge stainless steel with consistent quality.
