Operations Coordinator
Operations Coordinator – Firefighter PPE
At Gear Wash, we serve those who serve.
As a full-service UL Verified Independent Service Provider (ISP) and subsidiary of Fire-Dex, we provide cleaning, inspection, repair, alteration, rental, and logistics services for firefighter protective equipment across the United States.
We're looking for an organized, dependable, and computer-savvy Operations Coordinator to help keep our operation running smoothly. This role is the hub of the operation—tracking firefighter gear through the service process, coordinating workflow, supporting customers, solving problems, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
If you're the type of person who likes staying organized, learning new systems, helping others, and jumping in wherever needed, this could be a great fit. No two days are exactly alike. You may be processing work orders, helping customers, supporting production, coordinating deliveries, tracking inventory, or solving an urgent operational issue.
Most importantly, you'll help ensure firefighters receive clean, compliant, and ready-to-use gear when they need it most.
Career Path: This position provides an opportunity to learn all aspects of the operation, develop leadership skills, and grow into future supervisory positions as Gear Wash continues to expand.
Responsibilities Include:
Track firefighter gear throughout the service process and help ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Process work orders, invoices, and customer documentation.
Communicate with fire departments and internal teams regarding equipment status and service needs.
Answer phone calls and provide administrative support.

Assist with equipment maintenance and company verification programs.
Occasionally drive company vehicles to support customer pickups, deliveries, and operational needs.
Jump in wherever needed to support customers, coworkers, and company goals.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate:
