Python Lead Developer

Title: Python Developer Location: Philadelphia, PA(On-site)Type: ContractCore Python Development:Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with hands-on experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing code for performance and scalability.API Development:Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).Microservices Architecture:Practical experience in developing and deploying applications using microservices architecture.Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes is a plus).Knowledge of inter-service communication, message queues, and service discovery.Frameworks:Hands-on experience with Django (including Django ORM, middleware, and REST Framework).Proficiency with Flask for lightweight API or service creation.Database Skills:Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.Basic understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is desirable.Version Control & CI/CD:Strong experience using Git for source control.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) for automated build and deployment.Testing & Quality:Familiarity with unit testing and API testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, Postman).Cloud & Deployment (Preferred but not mandatory):Experience deploying microservices on AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
