Adjunct Instructor of Music: Low Brass

The Department of Music for Schreiner University seeks to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Low Brass beginning Fall 2025. Duties include weekly private lessons; facilitating a positive culture within the music department; preparing students for juries, recitals, and ensemble performances; and working with students to attain the required level of performance proficiency within a multi-year, developmental curriculum. It is expected the instructor will help recruit students and attend juries and recitals to provide realistic assessments of student performances. The successful candidate should demonstrate and support a commitment and sensitivity to participating in a healthy university community. Possible assignment to teach additional courses in the area of expertise.Required Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in music; doctorate preferred.Applicants will need to complete an online application via the schreiner.edu website.
