Unit Notes OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-*** to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Cardiac Cath Tech - # suites/labs: 2 labs, 1 hybrid room, 6 bed recovery area - #cases per day on average: 5 cases per day - Required Certifications: BLS - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line placement & drain placement, loop recorders - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have recent experience with heart caths & peripheral caths. Prefer experience with Philips equipment & McKesson. - EMR/Equipment: EMR - Epic. Equipment - Philips monitoring equipment, McKesson in the labs with Philips tables. 1 of the labs has a BiPlane - Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Charge nurse - take an assignment sometimes - Shifts & Scheduling: 8Hr shifts, - Weeknight/Call Requirements : On call 2-3 nights per week - Weekend/Call Requirements: On call every 3rd weekend - Holiday/Call Requirements: On call 2-3 holidays per year - Floating Requirements: Typically do not float - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided - Unit/Department specific orientation: 32Hrs, which is 4 shifts Date Entered: 8/3/2025 VivPost
