Behavior Technician (Part-Time) (Must Know ASL) - $23/hr

*Overview:* We are seeking a dedicated *Behavior Technician* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, and providing behavioral therapy. _*Perspectives Corporation is hiring immediately in Northern RI, specifically: Providence, East Providence, North Providence, and Warwick for 6 to 12 hours per week. *_*Responsibilities:** Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed clinician * Collect data on observable client behavior * Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives * Collaborate with families and caregivers to support client progress * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records * Participate in team meetings and training sessions*Skills:** Experience working with children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities * Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols * Basic to fluent in American Sign Language_Perspectives' New Employee Orientation program provides a welcoming, in-depth training experience to accommodate those who have never worked with people with developmental disabilities._*Qualifications:** Must have at least one year of college level education or currently be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits * Favorable background check, driving record and DCYF clearance * Valid driver's license and access to insured vehicleThis position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through evidence-based interventions.
