Growing together.Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8 AM - 5 PM CSTLocation: WellMed - 1202 FM 3036, Rockport, TX 78382Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notificationWork with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providersManage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census rolesProvide appropriate triage and care coordination notification cases for non-clinical assessment/interventionHandle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providersYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED OR 4+ years of customer service experience1+ years of customer service experienceMust be able to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience working within the health care industry and with health care insuranceExperience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid servicesA clerical or administrative support backgroundKnowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codesPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
