Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated part-time caregivers to join our team in Round Hill. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and companionship. Duties
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
Administer medication following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
Support clients with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior to supervisors promptly
Skills
Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings
Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques
Ability to perform patient monitoring and assist with medical procedures such as medication administration
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Strong skills in assisting with ADLs and providing direct support for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
CPR and First Aid certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
Physical ability for heavy lifting and supporting mobility needs using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working with seniors or individuals with special needs
