These claims require detailed coverage evaluations, liability investigations, and prompt and accurate claim resolution, ensuring that the policyholders and clients receive the highest level of support for these specific claims.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESInvestigates, evaluates, and resolves Auto liability Bodily Injury claims and Homeowner liability claims (PD and BI)Analyzes coverage and makes appropriate coverage determinationsAnalyzes liability and evaluates damages in order to resolve claimsCorresponds with and/or interviews policyholders, claimants, witnesses, etc. to gather important information and makes decisions based upon the informationDelivers an exceptional level of customer service throughout the entire claims processEvaluates coverage and drafts coverage letters to include both reservations of rights and coverage denialsMaintains proper reserves on all pending claims at all timesWorks independently within authority limitsADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms other duties as assigned.Travel as requiredQUALIFICATIONSEducation & LicensingBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. State mandated adjusting licenses as required. Insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, ARM preferred.ExperienceSix (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $65k-$95.
