This is your chance to focus your compassionate, clinical expertise on what truly matters: empowering members to reclaim their lives in recovery.Why Affect is DifferentWe combine clinical rigor with startup innovation to create a supported, mission-driven environment:Financial Stability: This is a W-2 position with a competitive range of $55,000–$70,000 for full-time work, commensurate with your experience and license.Focus on Recovery: You will deliver virtual individual and group counseling sessions guided by Affect’s evidence-based curriculum, meeting members where they are.Tech-Enabled & Collaborative: Work closely with coordinated medical care teams using technology to streamline processes and maximize clinical outcomes.Fully Remote Flexibility: Work from your private, HIPAA-compliant home office.What You’ll Be DoingConduct intake assessments to evaluate member readiness and determine the appropriate level of care.Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based model.Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed.Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning.Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state regulations.Requirements Active and verifiable counseling license in Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC, LCADC, or LCMFT), as well as your state of residence.Proficiency with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth platforms.Passion for supporting individuals in recovery and building therapeutic relationships.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet.Benefits Snapshot (Full-Time)Eligibility for medical, dental, and vision coverage.Employer-paid life and disability insurance.Paid vacation, sick time, company observed holidays and parental leave.Opportunities for continuing education and professional development.Be part of the mission.
