Trading Assistant, Securitized Debt

Our client, a premier multi-strategy fund, is looking for a Trading Assistant to join their team. Responsibilities include:Support Securitized Debt Desks o Product specific experience for CLO, CMBS, MBS, ABSo Experience with Derivative and Credit products (futures, options, and CDS/CDX) a plusPerform mandatory daily functions of: o Create and review Security set up, leveraged for downstream applicationso Trade Capture and processing across products o Trade Validation and Fails management with Executing brokers and PBso Experience Reviewing and Reconciling: • Principal and Interest Payments • Factors, Coupons, and Accruals • Position and Cash transactions across counterparties, PBs, and Fund Admin • Daily/Monthly P/L calculations within PMS and FO Risk platforms o Managing asset servicing around lifecycle events such as Factor paydowns and Coupons, TBA pair offs, and other relevant events o Assist PM’s/Traders in various research projects and Inquiries o Understand trading P/L calculation within Portfolio Management System (PMS) and General Ledger
