Job Description ***$2000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time positions*** ***Patient Ratio 1 to 4 (Low stress environment)*** ***Welcome New Grads*** MaxCare Health & Residential Services is seeking a passionate Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend Only or PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. MaxCare Health & Residential Services is a residential provider offering nursing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs. Shifts available: (Full-Time, Part-Time, Every Other Weekend, PRN) 7:00 am - 3:30pm 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm* 11:00 pm - 7:30 am* *INCLUDES SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL Basic Responsibilities: * Provide nursing care for individuals with intellectual disabilities * Provide basic patient care and treatment in collaboration with the Direct Support Professional (CNA) * Educate and update patients on medical treatments * Daily documentation of services provided and progress towards goals * Collaborate with an RN to administer prescribed medications and coordinate services as applicable Benefits include: * Ideal Nurse to Patient Ratio * Low-Stress Work Environment * Competitive Compensation * Health, Dental & Vision Insurance * Care Team approach that includes working with a Direct Support Professional to execute health and residential needs Minimum Qualifications: * Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia * Current CPR certification preferred * Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred * Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields * Ability to build rapport with patients, families, state officials, and peers * Compassionate and caring demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Company Description MaxCare Health & Residential Services is a residential group home providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs.
