Purchasing Clerk
CAPP, a leading supplier of HVAC, electrical, plumbing parts & equipment, is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to assist in our purchasing department. This is an entry level position and all training will be provided.
Job Duties:
Follow up on orders, track shipping, delivery, etc
Support purchasing clerks and supervisors
Provide excellent customer service and vendor support
Communicate with vendors, team members, and sales team
Enter order information into ERP system and generate POs
Required skills and qualifications:
Hardworking and goal oriented with great attention to detail
Customer-service oriented and able to communicate well with others
Team player who is flexible and adaptable with changing business needs
Solid technology skills (VOIP phone system, Google Suites, Excel)
Preferred skills and qualifications:
High School or equivalent
Previous experience in HVAC or related industry preferred
Knowledge of purchasing process
Previous experience with SAP/equivalent ERP system
